Calvin Creighton of Armstrong County has announced that he is seeking the Democratic nomination in the 60th Legislative District through a write-in campaign in the May primary.
“My goal is to work hard for the families of this district and to fight for common-sense governing,” Creighton said in a press release. “Knowing what people want and need has always been a big part of my career. Having more than 35 years of retail experience, starting as a clerk and working up to various management positions, I have had many learning experiences. And I continue to learn new processes, as we all must, to live in this ever-changing world and communities.”
An Armstrong County resident for the past 25 years, with the last 18 years in Kiskiminetas Township, Creigh-ton said he has been active in his community. He has been married to his wife, Geneva, for 22 years, and he said his combined families consist of five adult children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
