Roni Green, PA 190
Seat: Pennsylvania House of Representatives House District 190
Date of special: February 25, 2020
Roni Green is the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania House of Representatives district 190. Her experience is rooted in her time as the business agent for SEIU Local 668. Green has served as a Democratic Committeewoman for six years and has been a community and labor leader for decades. As a business agent for SEIU Local 668, Green has represented nearly 1,500 human service workers. Prior to serving in this role, Green was elected to be the union’s statewide Secretary Treasurer in 2011 and held this role until 2014.

Harold Hayes is a master plumber with Plumbers Local 690. He is running to be a voice for working families in Harrisburg. His Democratic values run deep. From his time as a Democratic Committeeman to helping his union sisters and brothers, Hayes understands what service means. As a former business owner, he is intimately aware of how the policies of Harrisburg impact workers everyday. Hayes and his wife Stacy, a nurse, have two young sons, Owen and Gabe.

Robert Prah, JR, PA-58

Veteran and educator Robert Prah, Jr. is the Democratic nominee for the special election in Westmoreland County. Prah, a native of Mt. Pleasant, PA has served his country for 19 years as an infantryman in the United States Army. He currently serves as a Major in the Army Reserves. Through various vehicles, Prah has served his community, including as the former Mayor of Smithton and as a volunteer firefighter. He is an adjunct professor at his alma mater, California University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Prah served as the director at the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs at the university.

Phil Heasley, PA-8
Seat: Pennsylvania House of Representatives House District 8

Residing in Center Township, Phil Heasley is a lifelong resident of the region. Phil attended Center Township Elementary School and graduated from Butler High School. In his early twenties, Heasley returned home to manage his family’s business, Butler Gymnastics Club located on Rt. 68 in Butler. He is running to be a voice for every resident of the district from Center Township to Sandy Creek Township.
